To Plant More Seeds, You Need More LEADS
(Part 1 of 4)

We all know that talking to people everyday is the key to success in our industry. So, the BIG question is, "What are your plans for this year?"

When it comes to your prospecting,

• How many people are you talking to everyday?
• How many are local? family? friends?
• How many are leads that you buy?

Here is the bottom line:

No matter how much time you spend building your business, the amount of people you talk to has a direct effect on how many people you will expose your business to. How many people you expose has a direct effect on how many people you sponsor or how many you sell product to. All of this affects your income.

This week we will begin a series that will focus on WHY and HOW leads or lead systems will increase your income. That is, to all of us — the BIG goal.

I have also directed some of these questions to CEM's National Sales & Marketing Director — Bobby Lindsey to help out.

QUESTION — "Do I stop doing what I am doing?"


Bobby Lindsey:NO. When you begin using leads, you are simply ADDING to what you currently do — and actually just doing more. Whatever your company or team system is, you use it the same with leads.

Motivated Mike: "Bobby, in regard to this question, what do you see your clients doing?"

Bobby Lindsey: The world of network marketing is changing. The amount of local hotels meetings are decreasing. It's not because local hotel meetings don't work, because they do — they can be and are very successful for network marketers.

What's changing is that network marketers are dipping into the world of Internet lead generation, and they are experiencing great success. Network marketing is becoming a true 'home-based business'.

Network marketing companies and leaders are developing tools and training to assist distributors more in nationwide and even international prospecting (through Internet lead generation).

Internet lead generation gives network marketers an endless supply of prospects so they do not have to rely only on hotel meetings as source of prospecting.

I recommend network marketers continue to do what is successful for them, but also evaluate the world of Internet lead generation. In the end, which source of prospecting is easiest and brings you a greater return on your investment and time?


MM:A question I often get regarding leads, is "What kind of leads are for me?"
